the best tutorial to learn everything about joomla from the scratch

Welcome to the VTC course for Joomla!. I'm your instructor, Melanie Hedgespeth. In this course you will learn about the content management system named Joomla!. Joomla! is an open-source, free program that you can use to get total control of your website design, navigation, updates, text and much more. With Joomla! you can keep your site up to date very easily and add all kinds of extra elements. Things like polls, sign-ups and newsflashes. In this course, we're going to cover Joomla! basics, which includes installing Joomla!, how to get help with the program and also being aware of Joomla! terminology. It's definitely important to understand specific key terms within the program so you can easily manager your site and easily work with the software. Once we master those basics, we'll move into the actual content of our Joomla! site. We will work with all the elements including the menus, navigational items, articles, polls and much more. At this point you're going to have the skills to implement components into your site and then we'll work on editing those items and increasing the professionalism of your site. As we continue to learn, we will work with extensions, templates and managing users. If you have a site that grows, you're going to need to be able to add users who can help maintain and keep all that information up to date on your site. Finally, we're going to work with search engine optimization. It's great to have a wonderful website, but you need to be able to drive Internet traffic to your pages. We'll take a look at our options in that area. We have a lot to learn and Joomla! is a fun program to play with. So let's get started. Remember, throughout the course you can always e-mail me with questions or you can go to my website; it's MyTechRelief.com. If you go to the Contact area I have a little mebo chat there. You can see if I'm online and I can answer your questions quickly. So let's get started with Joomla! and start learning.

Download Ultimate Windows 7 eBook .. for free!

After receiving so many questions yesterday, I thought it would be time to add a little eBook to our site.
You can freely download it over at:
I hope this helps some people to fix their problems. You can find a short summary of the content on our site.
Cheers,

Windows 8 Screenshots

Sorry to disappoint you but it’s a bit early for Windows 8 screenshots. We will try to get some as sooon as possible.

When Microsoft leaks some material we will probably get the first screenshots. You should definitely check out the Windows 8 features site to find out what they are working on. That might give you a clue what we can expect to see in a couple month.

Here’s a proof that there are no Windows 8 screenshots available:

Windows 8 Screenshots: 3rd-party-concepts

Many people have their very own idea what Windows 8 should look like, how users should navigate, how it should feel to use the system and what colors should be used for Windows 8.

Here’s great screenshot of a Windows 8 3rd-party concept:

The circular wheel with shortcuts to different important Windows functions is a common concept, but is still a missing feature in Windows. Will Windows 8 change that?

Another concept that also includes the circular wheel reminds of Ubuntu, because of the light-brown colors:

15 worthy Blu-ray movies for less than $15

Critics of Blu-ray often talk about how expensive the discs are, but in recent weeks, a growing number of Blu-ray movies have become more affordable, with several dipping below the $15 price point and some even slipping in at $9.99 on Amazon.

Cheap is popular these days and, not surprisingly, a lot of these bargain-price titles end up on the bestsellers list on Amazon. But when it comes to owning discs, most people have become pretty discerning, and don't just buy anything because it's cheap. With that in mind, we've culled down the list of bargain titles and selected 15 we think are worth owning.

As always, it's important to mention that taste is subjective, and if you don't like our picks, call us out and make your own suggestions in the comments section. If you're persuasive enough, we'll edit the list and swap in new titles. And as new budget Blu-rays come out, we'll also update the list. (Note: The discs on the list all were priced at less than $15 on Amazon at the time of this writing. Naturally, those prices are subject to change.)

For reference, here are the discs we considered but ultimately didn't include this round: "Bullitt," "Unforgiven," "Beetlejuice," "V for Vendetta," "Swordfish," "A Clockwork Orange," "I am Legend," "Fugitive," "The Road Warrior," "The Dirty Dozen," "Enter the Dragon," "Risky Business," "Dirty Dancing," "The New World," "Top Gun," and "Being There."

Click on any image to view the movies we did pick.
